State Closes Fayetteville Pharmacy, Recalls Veterinary Drug Products

The North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NC BOP) has recently closed the Prescription Center Pharmacy in Fayetteville, North Carolina and has ordered a recall for all non‐sterile and sterile veterinary drug products compounded or repackaged and distributed nationwide (including Canada) by the pharmacy between September 10, 2014 thru March 10, 2015 according to WRAL-TV.

According to the state board “the Prescription Center wasn’t testing its products to ensure sterility, stability and potency.”
