Chewy Launches New Telehealth Service for Pets

Chewy, a leading e-commerce company for the pet care industry which sells pet food, supplies and medications recently LAUNCHED a new telehealth service called “Connect With a Vet” which enables pet parents to connect directly with a licensed veterinarian to discuss concerns they might have regarding the health and wellness of their pet.

The service is currently available exclusively and free of charge to customers who are subscribed to the company’s Autoship program.

ACCORDING TO CHEWY:

“The vets are not diagnosing medical conditions, providing treatment, or prescribing medications.”

The tele-triage service was initially launched in Florida and Massachusetts in May of this year, and has now expanded to over 35 states with plans of offering this service nationwide.
