Synchrony (NYSE: SYF), a consumer financial services company recently ANNOUNCED that they have acquired pet health insurance company Pets Best. Pets Best was founded in 2005 and offers pet insurance for both cats and dogs nationwide.

Pets Best will operate within the CareCredit platform which provides consumer financing for health care expenses including veterinary care.
