New Study Finds Growing Number of Pet Parents Choose to Adopt

A new study recently released by PetSmart Charities, a non-profit animal welfare organization that saves the lives of homeless pets found that two-thirds of Americans considering to add a new pet to their family would consider adopting a pet rather than purchasing directly from a pet store or breeder according to the Huffington Post.

In 2011 a similar report by PetSmart Charities found that 58% of Americans would consider pet adoption.
