‘Fear-Free’ Initiative Seeks to Reduce Stress at Pet Hospitals

A new approach to veterinary care called ‘fear-free’ seeks to eliminate things at animal hospitals and veterinary clinics which may cause stress and anxiety for both cats and dogs. For example white lab coats, harsh lights and slippery, cold exam tables according to ABC NEWS.

About 50 veterinary practices across the U.S. have gone ‘fear-free’. Hospital certifications may begin in 2018.
