Mixlab, a pet pharmacy which focuses on creating custom medications for pets recently ANNOUNCED a $20 Million Series A funding round led by Sonoma Brands (a private equity firm focused on the growth sectors of the consumer economy).
Mixlab’s proprietary technology allows veterinarians to write prescriptions in seconds, track progress and therapy compliance.
The company was founded in 2017 and is shipping pet medications (same and next-day delivery) to 47 states and expects to be completely national by the end of the year.
The new investment will be used to improve its technology, expand into more locations where it can provide same-day delivery, and for new hires on both the sales team and in executive leadership positions.
