PetMed Express, Inc (PetMeds) (NASDAQ: PETS), an e-commerce provider of pet medications recently ANNOUNCED an agreement to acquire PetCareRx, a leading supplier of pet medications, food, and supplies with $42 million in annual revenue.

The acquisition will expand its product catalog and add about 10,000 (PetMeds currently has a 3,000 SKU catalog) wellness products to its offerings.

PetMed Express is led by CEO and President, Matt Hulett.

Following the closing of the transaction (deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2023), PetMeds intends to keep the PetCareRx e-commerce operation and brand running separately.
