The MICHELSON FOUND ANIMALS FOUNDATION, an animal welfare organization, recently ANNOUNCED that it has reached a definitive agreement with PETHEALTH INC (provider of pet insurance, lost pet recovery and shelter software in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.) for the acquisition of its pet microchip registry operations.
The Found Animals Registry was the first free national pet microchip registry and is one of the largest in the United States with more than 5 million pets.
This acquisition is expected to close later in 2021.
